Every thing with the bike works very well[ setup and operation]. However, the seat should have more padding. I am buying a new seat. A very good bike for the price. Be careful when looking for an exercise bike. Many bikes look great, but read the reviews before buying. I did, and I am very happy that I did so. Also I am 6' 2", and the bike fits me fine.

I have a recumbant that I'd been using on/off last 2 years. This bike I never want to stop riding. I have a balance disability due to brain injury. But being on this reminds me of when I could ride a tenspeed (love, love, love) the sport!!! This is so easy to get on and off and setting each workout is a breeze...Schwinn has always been a trusted name in my family. And they've done it again! The only complaint about this is that my daughters are always asking if they can get on it, I don't want to share. This truly is like riding outdoors except you're indoors. If you enjoy biking as much defintely get this bike!!! It will not disappoint!

The seat is very uncomfortable, I will go to a bike store and buy another seat. The seat leans too far back and you can't adjust it forward. Very quiet, but no light for the screen so you must ride it with a light on.

This is my new workout friend. I ride it when I need a quickie workout and when the weather is cold/snowy. It's easy to choose one of the preprograms, or I like to just adjust the resistance as I go. I like to get the heartrate up to 120 and hold it for 5 minute intervals. I will be ready for the Utah mountain bike trails. Gooseberry Mesa! yeah, baby...

This is a compact, comfortable, noiseless bike. My husband and I both use it for keeping in shape for and increasing that 40-something metabolism. It really makes you work up a sweat! The variety of programs and resistance levels really allow versatility in both exercise difficulty AND the timing of workouts. The manufacturer needs to supply a booklet on how to more easily and effectively utilize the built-in programs. Otherwise I am very, very pleased with the product.

I have been impressed with this bike so far. I use it almost every day and love it's quiet operation and ease of use. The seat can get mildly uncomfortable after awhile, but not nearly as uncomfortable as others I have used. Assembly of the Upright Bike was not difficult. My only concern right now is the electronic cable that runs through the hollow vertical column and connects to the display. Cable was too long and I was forced push it down into the space where the column attaches to the base assembly. I worry that this will place stress on the cable / connectors over time. So far, everything is working fine and the bike rides smoothly and quietly. I have used the unit about 6 times so far and have gotten some very good workouts. Purchased product to rehabilitate my knee. Pedaling allows me to strengthen leg muscles and break a good sweat without placing too much stress on the joint.

I used the bike twice with no problems. Next time I went to use it the monitor never turned on, and hence the bike was inoperable. Called warranty, sent them the requested sales receipt and a replacement is being shipped. When the bike worked it is great. Only issue I have is reading the display on the monitor. There is no back lit display and it is hard to see the read out.

Reviewed several types of exercise bikes, both more and less expensive. Found this model reviewed on consumerreports.org, and customer reviews throughout the net. The bike has lived up to all the positive reviews. We have had it only for a few days, and was purchased for a low impact exercise, because both wife and I have bad knees, and we have not had any difficulty working out. I really hadn't had much time exploring the Schwinn 120 exercise bike because it took 2 ½ weeks to arrive by "fast FedEx". I must say it was excellently packaged. Only a few glitches were encountered during assembly. Was surprised that assembly tools are included. Structurally, it appears very sturdy and well built. One caveat is that it is designed somewhat high off the floor which may prove difficult in mounting the bike for someone having leg problems. The user manual suffers in describing programming procedures and will require some experimentation. As others have pointed out, its operation is very quiet.

Overall, I'm happy I made this purchase. I needed something simple to add at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise per day. And this bike does the trick without being too obtrusive. The seat is a bit uncomfortable (but I am thin). Although I am 5'9", I have to have the seat set at its highest setting (are my legs longer than average?) to create the proper movement for my knees and rotation of my legs. This is okay for me, but limiting for use by anyone taller than I am. I managed the assembly on my own, but the instructions weren't clear. So, it took longer to assemble than it would have had I had proper instructions. The straps on the pedals don't allow for a wide shoe so I leave them off.

Set it up by myself in about ½ an hour. It's very stable and gives me a heckuva workout. I'm 6'4" and have no problem with my knees and handlebars. However the computer directions might not as well have been sent for all the use they are. I've yet to be able to program a workout with these instructions.
It's a good product worth 5 stars even with the poorly written computer instructions.

I'll use the bike during the winter rains to ride my 10.5 miles a day. Regular bike during the good weather.
Easy setup, 45 minutes by myself. Comfortable seat.
It's very quiet. And delivers a very good workout after some trial and error re what you want to do and how to do it.
I'm 6'4" and have no trouble with knees hitting the handlebars.
The instruction manual leaves something to be desired. Programming the computer is hit and miss because of the lack of instructions. The warranty wanted a serial number. Said see the instruction book. No serial number there. Had to get where it was off the internet and the packing box.

At first glance when the product arrived and I noticed the box was somewhat half the size of the product, I thought, here we go again, "some assembly required" and day 2 has come along and your still assembling the product. NOT THE CASE at all, my son and I had this together in less than 45 minutes. The bike is extremely quite, which many of the reviews state this and it's stable. So many exercise bikes that you buy from the stores feel as though your on bike will fall apart at any moment. This bike is fantastic!

I use the bike for a low impact workout. The bike does not make any noise so that you can watch T.V. while riding. It is a great way to lose weight. The only problem that I am having is understanding the directions to use the custom programming.

This bike is extremely quiet -- I can ride on it when the baby is sleeping! It has plenty of resistance to ensure a challenging workout. The computer is not as fancy as the one in the gym, but perfectly adequate for me. Some have complained about the seat being uncomfortable. If you are of average size I don't see how this can be true. Overall, a great buy at a great price!

I love my exercise bike and use it several times a week as an alternative to running. I am an avid runner who is recovering from a hamstring injury, so it is nice to be able to do something else that gets my heart rate up. I have been using it for interval training, and I am out of breath and totally sweaty at the end. My only complaint is that the seat is uncomfortable. I plan on getting a more padded cover, so that should solve the problem. Wish the seat was a little more cushy, but other than that, it has been great. Slides right into the closet when not in use, very quiet, nice computer readout.

I am only 5' and this bike adjusted to my height perfectly. It is quiet enough that I watch my favorite shows, it doesn't feel like I am working out as long that way. I am having trouble programing all the features, but I will master it. The seat it awfully hard, hopefully with time it will become softer. My husband and son put it together while I was at work so I can't comment on how hard or easy this was, but they were both speaking to me when I got home, so it couldn't have been too bad. I am very pleased with the performance and would recommend this bike to anyone.

This upright bike allows me to workout with all my other equipment and weights at home whenever I want.
I get a great cardo workout, done with a well rounded routine. I use weight mostly dumbells and easy-curl bars with a incline/decline bench.
I workout at home most in the day, sometimes after dinner and this bike fit right in with what I had in my home gym setup. I have a more balance routine now.
I research many upright bikes, this upright bike does all that I wanted within my budget. I could have purchased a more expensive bike but they truthfully did not offer anymore then this product with a name like Schwinn and it's longtime reputation for quality.

I've always been more of a heavy weight lifter, but as I get older, the more often I need to incorporate cardio into my weekly routine. This bike was easy to set up, is very quiet, and is very stable (even with my 250-260 lbs. frame). The only con is the uncomfortable seat, which is an easy fix with a seat cover.

Took about 45 minutes to put together. Directions a little vague. Computer has a error on it. Contacted Nautilus and they are sending a new cable.
It has been two weeks and have not received cable. This may solve the problem but it may be a bad computer.
