It can either sit there and take up space, or you can use it and benefit from it. I go to the gym often, but there are those days I do not, yet still feel a need to do cardio to keep my waist slender. This bike serves that purpose. I pop in a DVD, get lost in a flick, and 90 minutes later look down and, WOW, the calories I burned enjoying a good movie. Bike is quiet and comfortable.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

Just started using it so it is hard to determine the bikes long term effects. The best feature is it's compact style which fits just about anywhere, I have mine behind my sofas in the family room to use while watching TV. It is quiet and easy to use, is comfortable and has good back support. The seat wiggles a bit but not while sitting still and it does not hinder performance at all. I am happy with my purchase and have yet to see how it will improve my overall health. Would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a compact bike.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

This bike is perfect for sitting comfortably and working out while working on my computer which is on an air desk. The bike design works excellent for this kind of set up. I have to do much work on the computer and often don't have time to work out. With this bike, I am able to do both at the same time. It helps me be much more functional. It was one of the best buys ever. The only thing wrong was no threads on one of the screws, but it's still very worth the price even with needing to replace a screw.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

Overall I am pleased with it. I'm a stay at home mom with a toddler and I wanted something inexpensive and small that I could use on the days I couldn't make it to the gym. It could be a little more comfortable but I wouldn't call it uncomfortable either. The pedals could be a little bit bigger (they hurt your feet if you don't have shoes on) and the seat back could recline a little more than it does but other than that I love it. It wasn't that hard to put together, It's not too heavy to move around and it folds up really easily. I had it in about a week. The monitor that shows you your distance, speed, time, and calories burned kind of spazzes out from time to time and I have to take the batteries out and put them back in to get it to reset but that doesn't bother me so much.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I knew by the price that I wasn't getting the best bike, and I got this mostly because I had surgery on both of my feet and they are taking very very long to heal. Granted I weight 115 lbs, but this bike was much more stable and smooth than I thought it would be. The seat is comfortable, and the adjusting and monitor are nothing fancy but are simple and easy.
I was pretty active before, but since the surgery, forced to sit for many months, my general health drastically declined. This bike is perfect, the design is great for those who have limited mobility, and it does actually fold up as advertized.

using it to get some size to my legs with the resistance feature---I like the recumbent design because it is important to not hurt the knees---the seat is too short (front to back) for me and since I am using it for the resistance I would like a more positive feel & more range to the knob---maybe that's why it is a low price??

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

This bike is perfect for me while watching TV at night now that it it too cold to walk outside! Very quiet, sturdy enough as long as you do not lean over the side and not too hard to pedal. Of course the seat could be more comfortable, but sitting on a small throw pillow or folded blanket does the trick for me. I love that it folds up and fits in my hall closet and the price can't be beat. Assembly was pretty easy, I only needed my husband's help once!

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

The bike was exactly what I was expecting. Set up was quick and easy. I was extremely happy with it initially and only slightly less happy when I discovered that the seat can get uncomfortable. If it had more cushioning, perhaps that would help. Though, this may not be a problem for those that do not spend as much time on the bike as I do (30 min - 1 hour at a time). As a few others have pointed out, the seat may wobble slightly from side to side, but I don't find it too problematic. I also find it to be very quiet, which I can no longer say about my treadmill. There are a few minor things that could use some tweaking (like the seat), but overall I'm very satisfied.

Although it took a wee bit of help to set up, this bike has been the sturdiest, most economical piece of exercise and therapy equipment we've bought in years. There are three generations of us using this. Set up in our living room, we each watch a favorit TV or movie while pedaling happily through the show's length. We have one working for a heart condition, another for knee therapy and the third for weight loss. We all thank you for a great product and have told all our friends and family about it.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I'm 60 years old and needed an exercise device that could give me a good workout without pounding my joints. I have trouble with my knees and too much walking just irritated them. This bike is just the answer for me. It is very comfortable and easy to use. I really like the small amt. of space it needs when in use, and the ability to fold it and roll it away when I'm finished. The recumbent position is great for my back too. Love it!

Service & Delivery comments:

The only problem I had with the delivery was I found a small broken piece of the plastic housing around the foot pedal component when I unpacked it, but not enough damage to warrant sending it back. It works beautifully and I really appreciated the delivery to my doorstep, since you have to go up two flights of stairs to reach me and the bike weighs 54 lbs. Many thanks to the strong young man who delivered it.

We are a family of 4. We use the bike daily as a warm up and for circulation purposes. Grandma finds it easy to sit on. She feels secure. The boys use it too and race using the digital meter. Since we all use the bike, we have to tighten the knobs because they become loose. It also has a clicking noise when we peddle. Overall, for the price, it's a good machine. I would recommend it for "house" fitness.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

Have only had this unit a short time and use three (3) times a week. As one with existing back problems I find it comfortable and easy to access. No added strain to the back, neck, or arms.
Product was relatively easy to setup (not sure where some come up with more than an hour). Is easy to adjust to each user but is not truly portable (heavy and difficult to fold up if you have any lifting problems).
The only problem so far is the 'clunking' noise some others have reported but think this is coming from one of the pedals. Before returning I plan to replace the pedals with ones with a foot strap and will advise as to the outsome separately.

This bike makes it easy for me to excercise in front of my TV. I actually do it now. I have a small house so I have to put it away wach time. It fits in my front closet and it's sturdy yet light enough to move daily.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I was impressed by this bike from the first day. It just fit together so well from the clear illustrations and directions, and has been comfortable and pleasant to use from the first day. I am using this for exercising my legs and strengthening my knees, and I feel like I'm getting a good workout. My heart rate is up at the end of the 10 minute period I allot myself once or twice a day. I'm working up to more tension and longer workouts. This bike is a pleasure to use! Also, it fits easily and fairly unobtrusively into my NY apartment, and I like knowing that I can fold it up a bit when necessary. Just figured out that the funny knobbed metal 'stick' is to stabilize it when it's folded. I think this wasn't included in the instructions, but that's OK. I clearly recommend this bike. BTW, I'm 60+.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

This little bike is a work of art! Complex, but easy to set up with the clear drawings and instructions.. for me, a 60+ woman. Have used it about a week now... good workout.. I sweat and heart rate is up. The seat and back are VERY comfortable... I watch TV while pedaling... so far, 10 minutes at a time, twice a day.. working up to more time and greater tension. Prime thing right now is to help strengthen my knee area (but looking for my thighs to tone up, too!).
In my smallish living room the bike fits in unobtrusively, and yet CAN be moved and stored if necessary. I'm very happy with this Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike !

Service & Delivery comments:

The delivery was not only prompt, but the delivery man carried the box down the stairs of my apartment, which I much appreciated!! I also loved that I could trace the delivery progress online, so I could be sure to be home when it was delivered. All worked out very well.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I love having my own stationary bike! ESPECIALLY this one! I live in an apartment, so the wheels make it easy to wheel out of the way when I'm done with it. Stationary bikes (well gym equipment in general) can be sooooo expensive! This bike is the cheapest on the website, that usually means not-so-great quality, BUT this bike is an exeption! It's not all that fancy, but it truly gets the job done. I was scared that peddling wouldn't be smooth or that the seat would be way too small or some other problem but I have none of those problems so far. I've had the bike for a few weeks now and I use it every morning for an hour. It also comes with a digital monitor that is sooooo basic, but it gives u all the info u need. If you're purely looking for something that will help u get active and you're on a budget, this bike is a great investment. My ONLY complaint is that the seat needs more cushion. To solve that I just bought a chair cushion from walmart for a few bucks =) Get this bike! It's not fancy, but it's perfect. You can get healthy without spending a fortune.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I have my bike in my bedroom, so I can unfold it and start my day with a 30 minute ride. It's so quiet it doesn't even wake up my my husband! I haven't yet built up to increasing the resistance, so I can't yet judge this feature. It is very comfortable and easy on the joints. I already feel a difference in my level of fitness after just a week. If you lean to the side to get water, the seat tips to the side too, so the rider has to be careful of that.

I eagerly awaited the arrival of this bike, [...] Set-up was easy, and I was ready to begin. I consider this one of the best investments I've ever made. It's an easy, relaxing, low-impact way to exercise. The bike "glides" smoothly over the miles, you sit back and relax as you're pedaling, and before you know it, it's 50 minutes later and you've just pumped away 4-500 calories. And you can't wait to get back at it again. As others have said, the seat can be a bit uncomfortable, but you find ways to adjust to it so you can keep on going. Buy it, you'll love it!

He rides the bike about 30 minutes every day and says it has greatly improved his mobility and balance. The bike is sturdy, quiet and fits in a small space. It's ideal for him.

I'm finding it very easy to exercise with this bike because it is a fun workout. It is quiet enough that I can talk to someone or listen to the radio without straining to hear, and it is stable enough to allow me to read a book! I have only had the bike for a week and a half (and I work full time) and I can already feel new muscle tone in my legs. The monitor that came with the bike did not work, [...]

It's very compact, so it fit's almost anywhere. It's very quiet, smooth and great to ride.
I want to buy one for each of my family members. You have the ability to change the knob on the bike for harder resistent and I have it almost on the least resistent and I still get a good workout with a good sweat.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

Probably not the choice for a heavy duty bicyclist, but I wanted something easy to get me back into routine cardio. This is just right for me. It was very easy to assemble. It's very sturdy. Not a lot of bells & whistles, but does the trick. And folds away easily to boot. I fold it away right next to the TV so it's not in the way, but I see it when I sit down and it reminds me to get my cardio in.

Service & Delivery comments:

Prompt delivery right to my door, which says a lot because I'm on a hill. I had to change the delivery address and customer service was available and very helpful.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I am pleasantly surprised by this bike. I was looking for a recumbent bike to use while watching TV at night, and was limited by my wife's requirement of not having a permanant fixture in the living room. I purchased this bike because if it's small size and it's ability to be folded up and put away. I was not expecting the quality that I received. The bike was extremely easy to put together in about 30 minutes. It is quite sturdy, and comfortable to use. The peddling operation is very smooth and it is also very quiet. The monitor provides basic information, such as time, distance, speed & estimate calories burned, which is all that I really need. I've only had the bike for about a week, but am quite happy with it so far, especially for under [$]

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

This bike has helped me get off my butt and start taking care of myself by exercising. It's quiet , small and convenient- and I can keep it in my craft room or move it to the living room. Easy to sedate myself with TV while I get moving. I've been using it for an average of 45 minutes for 5 days out of 7 for the last 2 weeks. I have had some problem with my feet so my elliptical was not working for me- but I can feel my feet getting stronger from my use of the bike- and soon my weigh should go down so that my feet feel even better.
I wish it were more stable- I can't seem to tighten the seat up enough not to tilt if I bend over while on it- and additional padding for the seat would be very welcome- other wise it's a great , compact piece of equipment that has gotten me moving again.

I am an avid walker, but because of the harsh weather we've been having, I haven't been able to get out for my 3 mile walk each day for weeks. I have arthritis especially in my lower back, and with my new InTONE Recumbent Bike, I can keep moving and staying in shape. I use it twice a day, usually in the early afternoon and in the evening while watching TV. It is comfortable, and very sturdy, and when I'm done, it goes into the closet. Having this bike is a plus for my situation, and I can't think of anything negative to say about it.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I have always wanted to buy a recumbant bike for myself for years but was turned off by their prices and for some their size. I used to spend many hours at gyms in the past where I loved riding their bikes while listening to my music. The older I get the busier I seem to be where trips to the gym are no longer convenient. With this bike I now get to sneak in a little exercise in between my busy schedule and when I am talking on the telephone long distance with family. I read the reviews on this bike which convinced me to buy it and I am a very satisfied customer.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

Bike was very easy to set up. I am 5'1" tall w/ a 30" inseam and I can reach the pedals but have to sit forward a little bit to do so. Also, the seat tilts up slightly which makes it a little uncomfortable for me because of my height and shorter legs. The operation is very smooth, however my bike does have an occassional rattle noise but overall is fairly quiet. If you are looking for comfort, this probably isn't the best selection. However, if you are looking for a good value and are willing to forego some of the perks, this is the ticket.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I'm 5'2" with a 31" inseam - the seat height on the lowest setting is just a smidge too long for me so I have to sit forward on the seat. The seat is also angled up slightly and cannot be adjusted which makes riding more uncomfortable for me personally. Bike went together easily, however it does make an occassional rattling noise and has since day one. Although it folds up fairly easily, and the "wheels" make it easy to move, once folded it is a little awkward and cumbersome making moving it more difficult. The tension setting is easy to adjust while riding and offers a fairly nice range of easy to hard. [...]Overall, I would say it is a good piece of equipment for the price. However, if you are short, like me, I would recommend trying before buying.

I'm an off again on again dedicated exerciser living in a rural area = no health clubs close by. I usually stick to exercise DVDs but after cartilage surgery in the spring realized I need something to target knees and thighs for stronger support.
I love the recumbent design! It's comfortable to use - less pressure on my back and forearms. It is surprisingly more quiet than I even expected. Assembly only took about 30 minutes. And it is so easy to fold up when not in use. What's not to love about this exercise bike?

It's not a rocket science set up, but not the easiest either. I'm somebody that is a little inept when it comes to assembling things, so it probably took me longer than the average Joe/Jane.
And the fit isn't great where the back support slides onto the seat. Small manufacturing glitch.
Other than that...Once it was put together, it was a breeze. Excellent low impact workout that I combine with lifting. Good stuff for cheap!!

This is because it is light weight and folds,
Very happy with the use so far.
Thanks
Bonnie from Napa and Mt.Shasta Ca.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I'm pretty happy with it, but a couple of negatives with the height of the seat. First, it's a bit of a pain to adjust, which is tedious if more than one person uses the bike. Their design is very stable, but it takes a minute or two to unscrew the pin, wrestle the seat to the precisely correct position, and reseat the pin. Second, this is not a bike for tall people. I am a man who wears jeans with a 34" inseam, and this bike is just slightly too small for me -- I wear thin-soled shoes to give me the right extension while pedaling.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I have to say for the price I'm very impressed with this product. It was very easy to assemble. It took me about 45 minutes to do it by myself (if you've ever assembled something from IKEA this is a breeze). The operation of the bike is very smooth and quiet. I live in a apartment building so I was worried it would be too loud, but the bike is surprisingly quiet. The only downside to the bike is the seat is a little uncomfortable but that may just need some getting use to by me. Overall, I'm more than pleased with this bike.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I listed it as comfortable but to be honest it does slightly hurt my legs right past my butt, however everything else is excellent. I gave it a 4 because my feet sometimes slip off the pedals if they aren't in the exact right position, but once you get it, you can go all day with no issues. I was very very surprised at how good this bike is for the money. Amazing.

I like it.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

Easy to set up once you realize that some of the parts are for packing/shipping only. It's in our living room for now, being used to strengthen my injured back so I can eventually resume a regular exercise program on the torturous machines in our exercise room. Had I not had this low-impact bike, I would not be able to exercise at all. The compact size and ease of portability enable us to roll it into another room when we have guests. Although it occasionally makes a huge amount of noise (as others have described in their reviews), it is for sure a great value for the price.

I was told by my Dr. that I had a near bone on bone condition in my knee and that I needed to strengthen the muscles around the knee. I do a half an hour a day on the bike and have not experienced any knee pain since starting. We live part of the year in Florida and the other part in Maine and bought a second bike so I would not lose the muscle tone that was developed. If I skip my exercise for more than a few days, my knee pain is back. Great product as long as you use it regularly

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I use the bike at least two and sometimes several times a day. Im retired and I weigh about 200 pounds and I cannot do alot at one time so I do several 15-30 minute workouts. I love it. It is absolutely the quietest bike Ive ever seen. It fits nicely in a very tight corner of my bedroom because we are quite cramped where we currently live and something compact was crucial to my decision to choose this one. The seat is more comfortable than I hoped to imagine. The monitor is easy to read and adjust and reset. Its light enough to move by myself. (Im a grandma nearly 60 yrs old). I highly recommend this exercise bike. Im thrilled that I found it and purchased it for myself.

I ordered two - one for each home - and use it every day to rehab after two knee replacements. It is easy to use - provides just the amount of movement that I need without too many whistles and bells - also doesn't take up too much space.
Recommended to four friends and my orthopedic surgeon as a good tool for rehab. Recommended by my physical therapist.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

Great for people with sciatic problems. I have very few alternatives to get aerobic exercise. The action is very smooth. It is well made and has a quality of manufacture look about it. The first bike that I bought I gave it to my son to use. The second one that I bought a few months ago has an occassional noise problem. The noise lasts for 5 minutes or so and disappears. It happens only once early during a workout. It does not happen for all the workouts either. It is very annoying when it happens. The noise resembles an obstruction placed on the bicycle spokes

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I used a trampoline at home as my main form of exercise. I noticed my knees were beginning to hurt. Through internet research, I discovered that incumbent bikes were helpful to those with knee problems. I found this bike, and was amazed that it was so inexpensive.
This bike has turned out to be an awesome buy! I am using it twice a day, every day! And my knees have stopped hurting! It is so easy to use, and I love the performance meter! I feel that I am getting a good workout - much better than on my trampoline. My two girls and I have to work on a schedule, since we all love using it!
I am very pleased, and very impressed! It is sturdy, and QUIET! My trampoline was SO noisy! I can watch TV, or even read on this bike!
I like the fact that it folds, and can be stored in a corner, if I need to get it out of the way.
I am definitely recommending it to friends.

Comments about Stamina Stamina InTone Folding Recumbent Bike:

I injured the ACL (ligament) in my knee, and when I finished formal physical therapy I needed a low impact activity to keep my knee from getting weak and stiff. I live in a one bedroom condo and this bike is great! I am 200+ pounds, and it is absolutely stable when in use. It folds up to about a foot and a half of floor space, and is well balanced and easy to move. The only negative is that the seat could use more padding, but then I think that all bike seats should be more poofy!
Over all a great purchase.
